Note: We should be passing by Hopkins Lake on the way to the terminus tomorrow morning. We've put about 4 miles and two ridgelines between us and the fire and set up a cowboy camp. We reported the fire and it was mainly just smoldering so we're in a safe spot for the night. Main concern is any other fires up ahead. Also the possibility of the original fire growing and preventing us from hiking back to Hart's Pass.
